Mnemosyne Apartments

Client Brief

Design two luxury serviced apartments for short- to mid-term stays, offering refined, home-like environments with high-end finishes, considered amenities, and fluid, functional layouts.

  • Define zones for sleeping, working, dining, and relaxing - balancing privacy, flow, light, ventilation, and views.

  • Apartments should be able to connect as one cohesive residence, while still functioning independently as standalone spaces.

  • Demonstrate a clear concept, with strong storytelling and a cohesive spatial narrative across the design

Design Concept: A Space In Between

The apartments serve as sanctuaries from the city’s energy - a place of pause within the movement of modern life. Interiors echo the building’s sculptural form through fluid layouts, soft curves, and layered transitions. Brushed metals, natural stone, and textured textiles shift with light to create visual depth, while muted palettes, low curved seating, and natural materials shape a calm, sculptural retreat.
